For three Sundays in September (12, 19, 26), we will stick close with the
Old Testament book of Jeremiah hoping to gain new insights into the character
of God. Much of what the story of scripture teaches is no matter the situations
of our lives God is with us -- even through times of failure, grief and
loss. Through the lens of the story of the exile of the nation of Israel,
we will hope to discover characteristics of God's presence in our lives
that we may find surprising, but which enlarge our hope in the One in whom
we praise.
